Location: Minneapolis
Schedule: Part Time: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Bonus points for flexibility on school-break days!)
Salary: $24 – $28/hour (Depending on experience)
Description:
The Daily Routine (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
- School Pickup: Safely grab our son from school and chauffeur him home (or to scheduled activities like swimming lessons).
- Fuel Up: Serve up a healthy, post-school snack to recharge the brain.
- Unstructured Play & Outdoors: Head outside, walk to nearby parks, kick a ball, or dive into imaginative play.
- Brain Boosts & Board Games: Engage in plenty of reading, storytelling, and old-school board games. We love to keep things screen-free and creative!
- Light Tidying & Housekeeping: Pitch in with light duties like tidying up play areas, starting a load of child laundry, or watering the house plants.
Meet the Roommate:
We have one very friendly orange tabby cat named Waylon. He’s an indoor-only cat who is mostly self-sufficient thanks to an automatic feeder. Your only feline duties will be making sure his water bowl is fresh and giving him a well-deserved chin scratch.
The House Rules:
- Strictly Screen-Free Weekdays: No TV or devices for our son during the week (Friday movie night is the lone exception), and no video games permitted in the house at all.
- Active & Outdoorsy: We value an active lifestyle and want someone ready to run around, supervise outdoor play, and explore the fresh Minnesota air.
What We’re Looking For:
- The Ultimate Playmate: Someone who genuinely loves hanging out with 7-year-olds, brings fun afternoon ideas, and acts as a collaborative partner in our son’s growth.
- Reliability & Honesty: Punctuality and trustworthiness are non-negotiable.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle for school pickups/activities, and a passion for child development.
Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
